The Del Ray Montessori School is a non-profit Montessori School located in the quaint Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia, we are associated and recognized by AMI/USA (Association Montessori International). Founded in 2011, we serve children ages 18 months through age 12 and their families in the DC metropolitan area.
Below you will find a summary of annual tuition for the 2024-2025 school year. All programs are five days a week, Monday through Friday. Our school year begins in mid-August and ends in mid-June. Both our Young Children’s Community and Primary classrooms offer a full-day or half-day program depending on the needs of your child and family.

We are excited to provide extended care for the children in the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Before Care: Currently only available to Primary and Elementary students ONLY. All children will be provided a space to arrive and participate in indoor activities until school starts. Before care runs from 7:45 - 8:15 am.
After care: All of the children will have a snack provided by DRMS, outdoor time, and inside care where there will be games, toys, puzzles, practical life activities, and other play-based individual and group activities. After care runs starts at 3:15 pm and there are two dismissal times for after care: 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm.
Extended care is billed monthly and is only available to enrolled students.
